Updating / editing GoToMeeting schedules

I work for Salesforce and I am beyond dissatisfied with GoToMeeting. I never use GoToMeeting and have resolved to use only Google Hangout for its fantastic UI, ease of use and intuitive  workflow. Unfortunately a colleague of mine has gone on parental leave and has asked me to take over her meetings. Therfored, I am stuck with GTM because I dont want to change and inconvenience the 40+ customer attendees. All that I want to do is add a Co-Organizer. Apparently, only our Admin can do; and that the admin has to rectify 760 accounts; apparently not all accounts have the 3 rudimentary required fields of name, email, blah blha; apparently the GoToMeeting Support or their Manager or the GoToMeeting (LogMeIn) CEO cant do this. Do they realize how unethical and horrible this is? Good bye LogMeIn. Hello Google Hangout.

Re: Getting Started in the LogMeIn Community

@adesikan  Hi there,

If I understand you correctly, you want to add Co-Organizers to existing GoToMeeting schedules?  If this is the case, you will have the easiest time accomplishing this goal through the online interface.  Simply log into your account with email and password at www.gotomeeting.com , then visit the My Meetings area to see the full upcoming schedule, with Edit options for each one scheduled by that login.

To answer your other question, I'm sorry we don't have the ability to update an Organizer's meetings ourselves, as we do not have access to your sensitive schedules for several security reasons.

Re: Getting Started in the LogMeIn Community

AshC: I know how to add Co-Orgainzer. I could not do that and that is why I contacted the Support. The Support 1st level and the Manager tried and they could not either. Your response is as ill-researched as the Support is, unfortunately. This is the message I got from Support.

In order to add the co-organizer this has to be corrected by one of the Admins of the Account.
All of the assigned seats have to have this required fields for each user.
Name
Last Name
Email
On the image you can see that on the search box is typed "first", this way the Admin will get the list of the users that are missing the information.
I am including the information on Admins that I have already given you in our remote session.

Thank you for contacting LogMeIn.

Re: Getting Started in the LogMeIn Community

Hi @adesikan,

There are 3 options available to you:

  1.  The original meeting organizer (your colleague), needs to sign into their account and add you as a co-organizer to their meetings.  Then you will be able to start the meetings from your account.
  2. The original meeting organizer needs to share their GoToMeeting credentials with you so that you can sign into their account to host the meetings or add yourself as co-organizer.
  3. An Administrator on your GoToMeeting account can reassign your colleague's meetings to you through the Admin Center https://support.logmeininc.com/gotomeeting/help/reassign-meetings-to-different-organizers-g2m500012
