[Edit: Now, with a slightly updated GoToMeeting download, it seems to be working... if that changes, I'll try here again!]
I'm using ManyCam virtual webcam software. I have a 16x9 video. GoToMeeting (mac/chrome) refuses to show the whole thing. Why?!
This is important for me, because I use the whole background for slides.
Illustration: video output from ManyCam (that works fine with every other conferencing system).
The cropped view within GoToMeeting at 16x9 -- it doesn't appear to make any difference if I output 720p or 1080p from ManyCam:
The cropped view at 4:3
This is clearly a bug -- there's nothing to show why it's being cropped. But in the meantime, any workarounds very welcome...
You mentioned Chrome, so I was wondering if you've also tested with the GoToMeeting desktop software for Mac OS?
While we don't technically support ManyCam feeds I can say that we are considering several webcam quality improvements for the GoToMeeting software in the future that may include higher resolution camera feeds.
Just want to chime in to say that I would also appreciate any improvements that make GTM play more nicely with ManyCam. I've told the ManyCam folks the same thing.
