I have several users on XPS 13 machines (various builds) reporting issues with their internal microphones on GoToMeeting. The built-in microphones (Realtek) are resulting in mechanical sounds that are scratchy, w/ echos, etc. Running different versions of Realtek. Not occurring with Teams or Zoom.
GTM sends me to Dell, Dell sends me to GTM...
Has anyone else come across this and/or figured a long-term work around?
Hi @deartella ,
If there are no new driver updates available from the Dell website, are you able to contact Customer Support from one of the affected machines? We will need to gather some log files to examine further, as there are no advanced audio settings within the GoToMeeting software itself.
Hi @AshC. I certainly can, but I was on the phone with Customer Support for nearly two hours earlier this week and they didn't suggest any logs be gathered. Is there something I should be requesting or explaing specifically?
No problem-- Please click my Community name to send a private message with your admin email, contact phone, case number and best time to continue troubleshooting. We can probably gather the logs remotely as well.
Thanks.
Did you get this resolved??? We are having the same issue with DEL XPS 13 and DELL 5310 2in1
@scpitdirector @deartella Does your affected PC have something called the Killer Control Center in the background assigning process' priority?
