My attendees camera are flipped, but others are not. Help!
Hi @jxie ,
Typically that will be a local setting on each attendee's device / webcam setting, as GoToMeeting does not have control over the webcam orientation of participants.
Hi @AshC ,
I tried another meeting room, same setup its only that meeting room that does that. The camera will be normal for 5 seconds then it will flip without doing anything from the user's end. I tried both computer and phone, same result
In that case, I might see if there is any firmware available to update in the problem meeting room. Are you able to check the device manufacturer's website?
This happens on a few occasions for our organization too. It does not apply to all attendees and is not consistent across GTW meetings using the same hardware.
@AshC , here is an example of our experience:
I believe this issue occurs on some mobile devices that rotate after joining the meeting. The temporary workaround is to rotate those devices back to the original starting point. We should have more information on the resolution soon... https://community.logmein.com/t5/GoToMeeting-News/bg-p/GoToMeeting-Release-Notes
Dows anyone have any new info on this. I just experienced. However, the one attendee that was upside down only appeared this way on our InRoom Polycom system. All other attendees viewed the video stream correctly.
@gc_braviacap [Update] This issue was isolated to iOS mobile devices, and should now be resolved.
@JeremyMoritz Hi there,
I know this was posted some time ago, but I just wanted to confirm if an iOS device was involved with the webcam sharing flipping?
