Multiple users kicked out after connection attempt, had to restart GTMPC

Was there a Gotomypc update last night? Because this morning I had five separate users all report the same Gotomypc problem: they attempted to connect, their-

 

I'm sorry. Six separate users. A new one just contacted me.

 

Logged into the GTMPC web sites, clicked their computers, got 'attempting to establish connection',  sat there several seconds, got kicked out, then their machines no longer showed as available. I've had to RDP into all the machines and restart the GTMPC service. Did Goto update again and not tell anyone that 'by the way you're probably going to have problems in the morning'?

Make that eight, I've had two more people report the same issue.

 

I would really like it if Gotomypc actually warned us when they were going to do updates. Or at least if they'd give us back the option to auto update OR manually update. But that's not going to happen because The Provider Knows Better, don't they.

You can subscribe to our Service Status page to be automatically notified of any scheduled maintenance or service disruptions. The most recent maintenance was on December 28th, 2022, and there were no service issues observed yesterday.
