What was the resolution to this issue? The chat box for our training sessions no longer scrolls for our presenter/organizers or attendees for any of our sessions.

That previous issue was different, and fully resolved at that time.
In your case, we are now working on a new issue that fits what you described. As soon as I have an update on the fix there, I'll update this thread...
We too are having this same issue, which causes an issue with monitoring chat if you don't see it jump. Might I also suggest the chat box flashing or something like that as a setting to turn on or off? The bubbles are too distracting and does not help when you have multiples come in at once.

We are experiencing the same issue and it really bites! Missing chat messages everyday because when a new one comes in, it does not scroll so it requires us to continually move the scroll, very distracting.
