API issue with oauth

Hi, has anyone had trouble with the oauth endpoint? Yesterday, hitting the https://api.getgo.com/oauth/v2/token would return a 504 Gateway error and the message ‘Sorry, the page you are looking for is currently unavailable’

Our gotowebinar api basicially didn't work yesterday because of this. It also happened a couple weeks before that. Very frustrating since I didn't get much of a response from Logmein the previous time I reported the error.

Re: API issue with oauth

Same error here, getting Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 504 (Gateway Time-out).  Was just working an hour or so ago, now can't get the access token.

Re: API issue with oauth

Hi @GlennD,

We are seeing the same issues with API timeouts to the auth endpoint in our Leadpages GoToWebinar integration today as well (starting around noon Central Time). This issue happened on Monday 6.11 into early morning 6.12 also. We've sent multiple emails to developer-support@logmein.com and have received zero response.

Re: API issue with oauth

Thanks @GlennD

We are using the endpoint to retrieve a new access token, using the refresh token, as described in the page that you linked. This is where we are seeing 504 Gateway Time-out responses. I sent a more detailed email again to developer-support@logmein.com, but here are the useful bits scrubbed of any of our private info.

Product: Leadpages

API Method: Refresh Access Token

Problem Description: Frequent API Timeout errors when refresh access token is attempted for customers with an access token older than 1 hour (default expiration time). Below is an example using a valid refresh token.

Request URL: https://api.getgo.com/oauth/v2/token

Request Headers:
> Host: api.getgo.com
> User-Agent: curl/7.54.0
> Authorization: Basic {cliend_id:client_secret}
> Accept:application/json
> Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded
> Content-Length: 71

Request POST Data (if applicable):
grant_type=refresh_token&refresh_token={refresh_token}

Response http Code: 504 Gateway Time-out

Response Body:
HTTP/1.1 504 Gateway Time-out
< Content-Type: text/html
< Date: Thu, 14 Jun 2018 21:00:16 GMT
< ETag: "5accec45-158"
< Content-Length: 344
< Connection: keep-alive
<
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>Error</title>
<style>
    body {
        width: 35em;
        margin: 0 auto;
        font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;
    }
</style>
</head>
<body>
<h1>An error occurred.</h1>
<p>Sorry, the page you are looking for is currently unavailable.<br/>
Please try again later.</p>
</body>
</html>

Re: API issue with oauth

As @devert mentioned I sent an email to developer-support on Monday with no response!

I've sent a previous email to them 3 weeks ago and I did receive a response after 4 days which is a long time when there's a production problem!

Re: API issue with oauth

We had the very same problem (as described by @devert). It lasted from about 10:00 am Pacific into the late evening/early night. We made no changes before the problem began and no changes before the problem disappeared.

I emailed the developer support yesterday morning and haven't yet received a response.

Re: API issue with oauth

Thanks, I appreciate it.

To be clear, the issue does seem to have resolved. I'm curious about what happened (to make sure we're in the clear) and who development partners can get in front of to expedite a remedy. Thanks for your help.
