Attendee list did not populate until "Start Broadcast"

I was an co-organizer for a recent webinar for 745 registered attendees. Before we started the broadcast, there were 0 attendees in the control panel (this was 2 min after the webinar start time). When we started the broadcast, the attendee list suddenly populated. We found out later that the attendees had a "waiting for organizer to join the webinar" message on their screens. Shouldn't we be able to see who is attending the webinar before it starts?

@gcornell   Sorry about that.  You should always see the full Attendee list, no matter what state the GoToWebinar broadcast is in. 

 

Do you know if you were in Practice Mode for an extended period? 

Were there any Co-Organizers who experienced the same thing?

Are you able to replicate this behavior on any new webinars scheduled?

Thanks AshC and Chris for the replies. We didn't have the Webinar in Practice mode, we logged in ~10 min before the start of the broadcast. The only differences in how we hosted this webinar is that the other co-organizer was using a different laptop and dialing in from home. Previously, she had always used a company-issued loaner laptop and logged in from our office. Could there have been a connection issue that prevented the audience from populating before the broadcast started?

@gcornell  10 minutes before the start of the broadcast is no problem.  They should all appear in the pre-broadcast mode, so please let us know if you see that behavior again.

It may not have helped this time, but Chris always says to reboot your computer before you start your GoToWebinar.
