We've uploaded a short video clip to be played during a webinar. The presenter would like to pause the video clip from time to time so he can discuss what was just shown on the video, what they are about to see, etc. If he does pause the video and speak, will everyone be able to hear him? I understand that when playing a video, those listening to the webinar via the phone may not be able to hear the video. So if the presenter is speaking while the video is playing or paused, will he be heard? Thanks.
No, the presenter is muted during videos and you can't pause them. You can stop the video and start it again, but it will play from the beginning.
You can divide the video into segments and post those video segments to the webinar. Then your presenter could show one segment, stop to talk to the audience, then play the next segment, etc.
You can upload up to five videos per webinar.
Thanks Fran.
Thanks Chris.
Yes, you can talk when your video is on if you don't have sound on your video. Let me explain. I work with engineers who do lots of demos so as a backup, we create a video of the demo and let the engineer explain it live. You are automatically muted when you play a video but you can enable your mic. It works well especially if you are trying to demo software live. It is so much cleaner.

Thanks. We do have audio as part of the video clip we are playing. But for future reference, how would the speaker enable his mic? And what happens if he enables his mic while the video (with sound) is playing? What do attendees hear?
