Yes, all attendees must register first before they can attend a webinar. The minimum amount of registration information a webinar Organizer can require is the attendee's name and email address.
It is not possible to disable the webinar registration, though if you're working with a developer or third party integrations specialist (such as Zapier), then you may be able to import an existing client list to each webinar you set up.
Uploading my own CSV or Excel file of webinar registrants would be very useful feature for a couple of reasons. One, I would like to provide a registration point on my company website to take advantage of my brand and theme. Two, I can track the marketing channels that actual registrants came from and thereby identify the most to least effective sources. Three, I can add an internal group (company employees) without them having to spend time registering.
