Does anybody know if/when H323 (I.e. being able to call in from an in room system like a Cisco or Polycom) support for GoToWebinar is coming? I know it was added to GoToMeeting a year or 2 ago.
@abcde1 We still have no updates for this functionality request, sorry.
We have used a Polycom many times for GoToWebinars. We used the PolyCom just like we would have used a telephone to be the mic and speakers for the webinar. Am I missing something here? Like a different kind of Polycom?
@Chris Droessler There are some phones that actually have video capability all integrated. H323 devices are for these purposes, but we haven't fully developed anything for GoToWebinar yet like we have with GoToMeeting's InRoom link.
Thanks for responding. I am talking about Polycom or Cisco in room systems (not their regular IP phones). These don't come with a phone that allows you to dial a phone number, they expect an IP address to join it to a video bridge. This works fine with Zoom, Blue Jeans, Webex, Go To Meeting but it does not seem like Go To Webinar has this functionality yet.
@abcde1 Right--- We're on the same page. It hasn't been developed for GoToWebinar yet I'm afraid.
G2M allows joining through SIP H320 a Meeting from a Video Conf System (in room link)
so my question is, is not possible join a gotowebinar using SIP or H323?
This does not show up in the list of features included
https://www.gotomeeting.com/en-gb/webinar/pricing
as well as not included in the Webinar details after registered
that's why asking
GoToMeetings allows access to InRoom link attendees (https://support.goto.com/article/g2m220030) however I have not found the details for GoToWebinar. In particular I am looking to join via SIP. Has anyone had experience of this or know if it is possible?
Thank you.
@EmerS This functionality is coming in the near future.
I am looking for out for the possibility of joining a webinar with a SIP Link aswell. Is the functionality now available?
Thank you and kind regards
Michaela
