Is pre-recorded broadcasting possible?

Hi everyone,

Do the webinars always need to be live? We have many recorded videos on our “video library” tab on GoToWebinar dashboard, that belong to our previous webinars. And we were wondering if it is possible to stream an old video for an upcoming webinar. If the answer is yes, can anyone describe how we can do that? Thanks!

Hi @littleton 

You are allowed to schedule Recorded / Simulated-live webinars from scratch, then choose the video you want to play at the appointed start time.  Attendees of these events will all join through their web browser. 

If you need attendees to use the desktop app then you might consider downloading the video, then adding it to a standard webinar schedule:  https://support.goto.com/webinar/help/share-a-video-beta-g2w090120
