Recently, 2 webinars recording did not include the webcam.
Webinars recording before that did include the webcam.
I checked the settings, and the recordings are online, and the box "Show webcams in recording" is checked.
What could be the problem?
@MeitalTal Were you also screen sharing something during the broadcast? This is a requirement in order to trigger the webcam recording as well.
I did webinars with only webcam before, and the webcam was in the recording.
This time the webinar included screen sharing and webcam but not in the same time.
In order to trigger the webcam recording, Cloud Recording and Desktop Sharing must be engaged for that broadcast. You can always pause screen sharing once you begin the broadcast.
I recently had the same issue. We were sharing our desktop and doing a webcam and it only recorded the desktop on the recording. This has worked previously. Again we were sharing our desktop and using the webcam.
Thanks for your patience, we are investigating the cause of this failure now, and hope to have a resolution soon.
I had the same issue on a webinar on 3/17. I called about it today and your support person told me it was probably a problem with the privacy settings on the presenters side (firewall issue). But it sounds like this might not be the case?
On 30 June 2021 (more than one year later) we broadcasted webinar nbr xxx (so it's not the first one and all settings are double checked) and the cause is still there: the recording does not include the webcam in the online recording! Please share the solution!
@CBI Can you host a test webinar now from the same device, using cloud recording, and share your webcam to confirm if there's a local problem, or perhaps a system issue?
