Welcome to the LMI Community.
I'm afraid we restrict the ability for users to import thie own contact lists for several security reasons. You must advertise and publish links to the registration yourself, if not working with a third-party integration fo some kind.
Here is a current listing of integration partners we are working with: https://www.gotomeeting.com/integration-marketplace
Hi, I am just using that integration but Zapier is receiving an API error form Go To Webinar with the next message. How can GoToWebinar increase my limit of API requests? I have more than 100 emails to register in 10 webinars.
GoToWebinar: The app returned The API call rate has been exceeded for the day. This usually happens because there is a limit to the number of times we can send information to an app or service within a period of time. Please wait for your limit to be reset and try again.
Hi @AdrianaGalvan ,
You may file a request for an increased limit through this template: https://goto-developer.logmeininc.com/api-support-request-template
This is an email alias which we monitor weekly.
Does this functionality exist yet? This would be a game-changer. Without installing some of the listed plugins, we should be able to export a file in the correct GTW file format to register them for webinars.
Hi @Jay_Elle ,
I don't know if this request will ever be available to regular subscribers, for specific reasons around abusing the email functionality and attendee privacy. Companies with developer help (like Zapier for instance) can still import and export their contacts list directly between systems through our APIs.
While don't offer this ability as a regular organizer feature, we do offer APIs for developers who know how to integrate different systems with GoTo services. You may also hire a third party developer for assistance with this if necessary.
I found some older (2012) support forum posts about the inability to import a list of webinar attendees from an external file (e.g. CSV or Excel). At the time, importation only via an API was possible. I wanted to confirm that this is still the case. Does anyone know for sure?
As we have been planning an in-person event for month and taking registrations on another platform, and are now trying to switch to virtual (due to COVID19) and hope to use GoToWebinar, we need to be able to get already registered attendees in this system.
The event management platform offers an API integration with GoToWebinar, but want US$3,500 for it. As a non-profit, and having lost pre-paid deposits on several suppliers (venue, AV, etc.) we simply can't afford this extra fee.
Hello! I currently use both Meeting and Webinar products and I am trying to figure out if there is an easy way to upload a ton of registrants at once? It is very time-consuming to put in one person at a time. Is there a function that allows me to drag and drop an Excel doc or a Google doc? I know you can do this with Zoom but would prefer to not switch platforms.
