I've just downloaded a new copy of hamichi and I pressed the on button and tried to log in to my account. That didnt work and i got the error "cant connect to logmein login service" or somthing like that. After a few attempts, i got a notification about the update and it opened just fine. I can login here on the website, but not on the client. I have looked at some of the other posts that say to check internet and attach the client to my account. I have checked my internet and the atatch button under sysem is grayed out. What should i do to fix this?
OK STEP BY STEP OF WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IN ORDER TO MAKE IT WORK:
1- Uninstall EVERYTHING you had installed of Hamachi.
2- Reboot your computer.
3- USE INTERNET EXPLORER NOW, do NOT use another browser.
4- Go to Internet Options - Advanced Options - Reset values to default. Confirm and close.
5- Go to log me in webpage, and log your account.
6- Inside your account, using Internet Explorer, go to NETWORKS - MY NETWORKS - And from here, you will have 3 options. Select the first one, which allows you to download the installer.
7- After the installer is downloaded, install it. (IMPORTANT NOTE: When you are in the installer wizard, check that there is a step that says something like "Your account "X" will be attached to this installation" or something like that. Meaning that it will auto-link ur log me in account with hamachi).
8- Windows Firewall may ask your permission for Hamachi. Allow it.
9- After you start hamachi, it will log in without any problem.
IMPORTANT NOTES: DO NOT use another browser besides Internet Explorer. For some reason, when you log in to your account in other browsers, during the installation process, the installer wont recognise your log me in account. That's what happened to me while using Chrome and Firefox.
I had the SAME problem as all of you, did that, worked perfectly.
