In the new version of the Windows App there are not shortcuts (like CTRL-ALT-F) anymore for chancing the cursor (pointer) into an pointer to point out the selected app/window and fill in the credentials known for that App... What am I doing wrong?
Once you have added your application, you should still be able to use Application Autofill by using that shortcut following these steps:
If these steps don't work for you, could you try uninstalling the LastPass application and reinstalling via the LastPass Universal Windows Installer here? https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php
Our application is the Credentials UI Broker for entering the Administrator Password. F.e. when opening Remote Desktop.. When remotedesktop is started, The Administrator Popup will popup, but fillin in the credentials isnt working for that... This is the application used: c:\windows\system32\credentialuibroker.exe
Maybe its not working because there are multiple servers (remote desktops) with multiple passwords
In other words.. it's not working for us anymore..
While it is possible that due to how the application is set up or how it runs, as not all applications are supported for Application Autofill, are you able to configure the Application Fill Sequence or remove and re-add the application using the steps on this page to see if that works?
For CredentialUIBroker this steps arent possible.. Because the program we want to start is RemoteDesktop (C:\Windows\System32\mstsc.exe), but the credentials need to be filled in, in the Windows Default Credentials Popup (c:\windows\system32\credentialuibroker.exe)... Because its the Administrator password.. So that is not matching and not filling in the credentials...
And this is the only app we use the Windows App for, so pretty useless in this case.. I prefer the CTRL-ALT-F shortcuts so we can SELECT what App we want to use the credentials for
