It is my understanding that the feature to push sites/passwords to user vaults is being deprecated and we are being encouraged to turn towards just using shared folders going forward. I wanted to start a discussion about how I disagree with this move. We have automated pushing UNIQUE sites/passwords for users when we onboard them with the api for this approach in such a way where our admins have no knowledge of what passwords were issued to users and users can start their first day with credentials for relevant sites pre-populated for them. Sharing does not offer this level of automation, unique credential sets, or anonymity and the shared folders should be temporary locations at best which is difficult to train users on moving items out of.
