custom items / templates

Hi,

we are evaluating if lastpass would be a good password manager for our company.

We would like to create custom items for our team members but there seems to be no option to share custom items with other team members?  So we want to share templates with all team members

Also...like already mentioned in other posts..It would be very nice to be able to chaneg a custom item after creating it...

You should be able to share Custom Items to other users, following the same steps to share an item: https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass/help/use-the-sharing-center-lp020007

Currently there isn't a way to share a saved custom template with others, although you should be able to share item(s) to other users such as by moving them in to a shared folder.

So one cannot create a custom item type and let other team members use this?

I would like to bump request for sharing custom templates.

And also

1. Let users edit custom saved templates after creation.
2. Allow to launch URLs like in normal entries, now its only "edit" as main entry button.

Temprorary work around I discovered for myself and it might be useful:
I noticed that default templates allow adding custom field, if you click "edit" icon (see screenshot), it allows to add custom fields. Which is not a template, but still better that nothing and can be shared.

Workaround:

1)  Create the custom template

2) Add an entry using the template with the name "Template"

When someone who does not have the custom template wants to add an entry:

1) Select "Template" entry

2) Actions / Clone

3) Enter your data on the cloned copy and save

Unfortunately, that won't work with Adddresses. 😞
