Add external monitor support for iPadOS 16

When using an external monitor with iPadOS 16 you cannot use the LastPass plugin on Safari.  If using the iPad standalone without an external monitor, all is well. But when using an external monitor with Safari opened in the external monitor, LastPass does not prompt to login to a site that has a password stored in LastPass. 

I am sure this is just something with the new features in iPadOS 16 that you haven’t gotten to yet. Just wanted to let you know about the problem.

I did some further testing and everything works… except when the site URL is not in the LastPass vault.  Normally you can search the vault from a prompt in the Safari plugin and select the entry.  When using the external monitor this still kinda works but you have to take extra steps to finally get logged in. I can’t get a screen recording to show you, but you have to select the plugin in the address box, select copy username, paste it in the login username box, then copy the password from the plugin and paste in the password box.  When you are not in the external monitor, LastPass automatically suggests a vault entry.
