Add the option to exclude sites from the Security Challenge

I would find it really helpful if there were a per-entry setting for a site that enabled it to be excluded from the Security Dashboard checks. Several of the financial institutions I use have a simple PIN or short numeric password for the first-stage login and then a more complex password for the second stage. As far as I can see LastPass doesn't have the ability to handle two-step logins and therefore only sees the fist password, which it reports as weak. If I change such passwords they will still be considered week, so there is really no benefit in them being included in the dashboard score.

I have two issues that i think can be sorted with the fix.

I have a couple of accounts that dont have a password because they check you via other methods. I also have accounts for my internal systems which in some cases use weak or passwords that cant be changed.

Is there a way that i can flag these accounts so that the security challenge does not pick them up? Its making my score terrible but i cant do anything about it. Apart from removing them from LastPass but then whats the point in that.

Not at this time. However, the security challenge is just a tool to help you identify possible problems.

In the security dashboard it lists all weak passwords.

Some of these logins I am unable to fix and would like to filter out the ones I can not fix (due to it being a short pin code or the site themselves requiring numeric only passwords, and other scenarios).

How do you do that so I don't have to keep reviewing a huge list of weak password entries repeatedly?

Hello,

When viewing the password security page, you can click "Filter by...." in the top right corner of the page to view only one category at a time, such as "Filter by reused" to only view reused passwords. There isn't currently a way to remove certain categories when viewing all passwords, or showing all passwords except for the Weak category, only the filter by option in the upper right of the page.

Can you allow filter by items WITHOUT a specific tag? RIght now you only allow filtering WITH a tag using the "-tag:mytag" search feature.

There isn't currently a way to remove certain categories when viewing all passwords or showing all passwords except for a certain category, only the filter by option in the upper right of the page to only show the category chosen, although I have passed this idea along to our development team for consideration in future updates as this would be a useful feature.

Please note that this is the forum community for LastPass, not 1Password, as I see from your link you had also posted in the 1Password community and these are two entirely separate services.

There isn't currently a way to exclude entries from the Security Dashboard, and this has been submitted to our team as a feature request as other users have also requested this option as well although we don't have any news or updates to share currently in regards to adding this functionality.

I concur with this suggestion - sometimes one might have someone else's log on and password to use for some purpose and we aren't going to change this entries.

Agreed - additionally, I also save some public WiFi passwords etc in my LastPass account that I really have no control over, so it would be nice to filter those out as well.
