I'm boggled that this feature doesn't currently exist. When using LastPass in chrome and desktop, to view a password you must click 'edit' and then show password (or other document, note, social security card, etc.).
I'd like to see the option to view only. Having to click edit, makes the fields live and thus susceptible to erroneous keystrokes, errors, etc.
