With the new release of Safari 14 Apple has again changed how browser extensions work. You are now able to port over existing code from a Chrome extension.
I really, really dislike how Lastpass currently works in Safari with the annoying LP desktop app having to constantly run in the background.
Why not port over the Chrome extension and make the Safari LP extension work again without the need to have the desktop app installed at all?
