This is a request for LastPass to store WebAuthn passkeys (credentials) in the Vault, just like it stores userid/password credentials in the Vault, to allow users to use a passkey to log into a cloud account instead of a userid/password. Just as LastPass stores the master of userid/password credentials in the cloud and syncs them to all the user's devices, LastPass would store the master of WebAuthn passkeys in the cloud and would sync them to all the user's devices. For background, read the section "3. Copyable, multi-device Passkeys" here: What does the future hold for modern authentication? - Yubico "Copyable, multi-device Passkeys", to use Yubico's phrase, are called "software roaming authenticators" in WebAuthn AFAIK. To be clear, this feature request is NOT at all the same thing as this other request: FIDO2 U2F support - GoTo Community (logmein.com) This request is about LastPass storing WebAuthn passkey credentials for the accounts in the Vault, as an alternative to storing userid/password credentials. The other request is about using WebAuthn to authenticate into the user's LastPass account/Vault.
