Pretty straightforward. I have many older passwords that I likely won't use and would like to hide or archive. Yet I am always surprised when I have to go scrape up a PW that's 8 years old I never thought I'd use again.  So I don't want them deleted. I can create a separate folder called "Archive" and place them there, but then I lose my original folder & password hierarchy. If I could check a box called "Archive" then the GUI and/or Settings could give me opportunities to view them or not. In the vault, one can select two or more passwords, and do several operations on those. One missing option is to merge them together. I have found that I occasionally get two entries for the same site. This either results in two nearly identical entries (and the security checker complaining that I reused a password) or entries where one has the current information and the others have out-of-date information. I'd like to suggest adding a new option to generate random password - generate random passphrase.    Passphrase generators are becoming more useful, and it would be nice to have it built in instead of having to go to random word generator sites. These are useful for usernames, such as the one from NordPass, but also good for passwords where those passwords will need to be shared easily with colleagues (and not shared through a system like LastPass).   Currently I use the LastPass random password generator with only ALL CAPS  and the Easy to Read option selected to create random usernames such as RAYBKGCACHGV for any sensitive sites like online banks or credit cards. The goal is to have no personally identifiable information as part of the username.   I'm posting this because I filed a help desk ticket with LastPass complaining about the lack of certain characters in the random password generator. For example, LastPass never uses these characters: ,<.>:";'{[}] whereas other password generators do. Part of the response I got was the following: "We recommend using passphrases as they are better than adding special characters in short passwords" (we being the LastPass development team). When I put an item in a shared folder, the item is removed from my detailed folder - for instance, if I share my Best Western login/password item it is moved to the shared folder and no longer resides in the Travel folder.   I wish it would remain in my folder and had an icon that said "shared" instead.  The shared folder gets clunky by not being sorted and also if I am looking at my travel folder, Best Western is no longer there!     ... With our dark web monitoring service, we often get full passwords that were compromised, but not always the source (i.e. LinkedIn, or website). People need to be able to search all the passwords in their vault to see to which website/service the breached password is connected. Currently you have to export to CSV and search the CSV. Currently the LP password generator includes helpful options like easy-to-say and easy-to-read.  Another helpful feature would be including an easy-to-type  option that would make for still secure but easier-to-enter passwords on mobile or set-top devices.  For instance, on a Roku or SmartTV, entering in a strong generated password like '7k3gR!YGu$RC8e^3kSpRQPn$' using a two-or-three button remote and an on-screen-keyboard is a nightmare, specifically due to having to switch from upper to lower case and from A-Z to symbols/numbers.  To avoid this, I edit the generated passwords.  For instance, the generated value '7k3gR!YGu$RC8e^3kSpRQPn$' above becomes:  '7383RYGRCSRQP$!^$kguekpn'.   It's the same data but the symbols, numbers, and upper/lower-case letters are in contiguous blocks.  This avoids the maddening context switching when entering on a mobile device or set-top-box.     Seems like a simple and helpful feature that would require just a bit of string manipulation at runtime.   You could make the appearance or order of the character classes vary from one generation to the next to avoid patterns in the generated output. ... When creating an account on a website and the browser plugin pops up, asking if you want to save the password for that site, there is no way to edit the Name for that username/password set.   I have multiple accounts at various websites, due to supporting a number of clients, so I need to customise the name for each username/password set, otherwise when I go to log in, Last Pass just shows a list of 'username/password set Names', and all the Names are the same. ... Hi LastPass,   I miss the possibility to create items directly into a subfolder. When I create an item now it's possible to pick a folder, but it's showing all the folders and subfolders in the Vault, see the attached screenshot. I want to have the possibility to browse to a certain folder (like in Windows Explorer) and directly create an item there. So that LastPass knows in which folder I am working. OK, this seems like an obvious one and pretty easy to fix.  'Been driving me mad for years.  Here's the situation: On many popular domains or domains that I control, I might have 5-10 different logins accessing services on the same domain. So, think several Google.com logins or, a better example, several logins to different wpengine.com subdomains (see screenshots).  For most but not all Google.com logins, I can distinguish by username or email address.  In situations like wpengine.com where there are many subdomains, it's almost impossible to add or update logins.  I like to use suffixes on records to help me recognize specific logins.  So, eg, subdomain.wpengine.com (suffix_personal) and subdomain2.wpengine.com (suffix_work).   *There are 3 really basic problems with this* 1) during site add, there is no easy way to edit or even see the name field.  So, annoyingly, you have to add the record, then go into lastpass again, try to find the new record, and then edit the Name: field so you can find it next time you need it.  Grr. 2) then, if you ever need to update one of your logins, lastpass first jumps in to suggest that you update one of many impossible-to-view records in a list.  *This one is definitely a bug not a feature!* (see screenshot). 3) I just skip that impossible step and go ahead and log in because LP gives me another more easily visible list of records to choose from post-login.  The only issue here is that the display box is not nearly wide enough to show reasonably sized record names (eg "my.wpengine.com (personal)" or "my.wpengine.com (work)").  So, I can't guess which record to update.  This means, of course, that I need to copy & paste my new pw into **something less secure** like a local notepad client if I want to not get stuck in an endless cycle of pw resets. What is the recommended workflow for managing multiple logins to singular domains?  Please make it easier to a) customize the Name field of a new record *during first login* and b) actually see the full Name:  field of sites during pw updates.  And, also, please fix the UI bug which obscures records during pw reset.   Screenshot: No way to customize or even view the Name: field during pw add. My aging parents use 1Password with my brother as the family administrator. The user interface has an option when you reveal a password to reveal it in large type. This is extremely helpful with older people or people with just poor eyesight when they are using Last Pass on a mobile device and typing onto a computer to use a password.   I frequently have to do this, since I don't have the extension installed at work.  ... With more and more sites offering Two Factor Authentication, it would be handy to somehow in LastPass be able to track which sites one has enabled 2FA for and which type of 2FA. Even if it is something that could be entered manually by the user that would be a useful feature, but of course if it could be detected automatically that would be even better, but I can imagine that's not so easy.   The 2FA coverage could also potentially be made part of the overall security score (in addition to measuring the password security which makes up most of the score).  ...
