For the last month or so, I've been getting the "LastPass was unable to auto-fill this app" error message.
I've been getting it on Chrome browser as well as for installed apps
The workaround for the issue has been to
After doing that process, Last Pass works to bring up the dialog box with the matching username and password for the app. This works for a day at most times.
Then same issue next day.

Could you try uninstalling the LastPass app and browser extension, restarting your device, and then reinstalling to see if this resolves the issue with that message popping up?
I tried uninstalling the app, rebooting and reinstalling. Still same issues.

Same issue. I made sure that all the auto-fill settings were set and permissions granted.
What seemed to finally work was the "Draw over other apps" which is under special features. Easiest to search for it. Made sure that Lastpass was enabled. Seems to be working. Even with Chrome.
