I've been having this issue for months now where the Authenticator app show a push notification or prompt to authenticate when the app is opened. The only way to authenticate is through code only. It looks like others have had issues so I'll try to add details here to see if it will help resolve.

Issue
I've kind of tried everything at this point. Disable and enable authenticator. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Removing all trusted mobile devices and linking only my phone. It seems like the linkage is broken and I can't seem to find a good answer on any of these forums on how to fix it.
