My Authenticator app doesn't list Last Pass. If I hit the + sign, it wants a QR code. Where can I find the QR code? Everything I googled says to go to my last pass account settings on my laptop and go to MFA options and enable the last pass authenticator. And the instructions will say when I enable it it will give me a QR code. That NEVER happens. I've disabled/enabled many times but never get a QR code. The MFA options shows the authenticator is enabled, but Last Pass isn't listed in my mobile phone last pass authenticator. When last pass asks me to use the authenticator to verify my login, I can never do it and have to choose send SMS code instead. I'd love to get specific instructions on how to get a QR code so I can add it. Or give me instructions to manually add last pass to my authenticator app (Service, Account, Key).

Try a different browser, preferably one that still has its default configuration. When you click enroll after enabling LastPass Authenticator, a new tab should launch with a wizard to pair a device and setup a backup phone number. Browser settings or popup blocker extensions might prevent that from happening.

Thanks so much for your help. I tried another browser, but not getting any popup for the QR code. I just installed Google Authenticator and I was able to get a QR code no problem. So I'll just use that one.

Go figure. I have been struggling with the same problem, being an inability to use my Last Pass Authenticator for my LastPass account. I had numerous other applications using the Last Pass Authenticator, but I could never generate a barcode to enroll my Last Pass account on the Authenticator. So, I kept my Google Authenticator solely for the Lastpass account.
Well, lo and behold, if I go to the Google Authenticator on my web access to the LastPass multifactor settings, and edit the Google Authenticator so that it generates a barcode, I then used that to successfully register LastPass on my LastPass Authenticator! I selected the add account + sign on the LastPass Authenticator, scanned the Google Authenticator barcode on my computer, and it added the Lastpass account!
Excellent! That fixed the F*%^*+ thing.

After fumbling around for a glorious hour I finally figured out the real solution so figured id share here
1. Disable Last pass authenticator and then re-enable it .
2. If it was linked to your last pass account previously you'll want to edit so you can re-start the mobile app set up process again... and presto - you have the ever elusive QR code
Still not getting this, would greatly appreciate some help.
1. I disabled then re-enabled the LP authenticator app listed in my vault MF options via my laptop LP interface.
2. Don't understand the next instruction "if it [the authenticator app on my phone?] was linked to your last pass account previously you'll want to edit so you can re-start the mobile app set up process again" [Edit what, where? I had uninstalled and then reinstalled the authenticator app on my phone.]
The LP help instructions for the authenticator app seem to actually be written for the business authenticator, not the "Authenticator App" for personal accounts.
Is this solution for the personal version of the authenticator app for phones rather than the business version? When you say "try a different browser" you mean open my LP vault on my laptop in a different browser, correct?
This problem persists when enabling the LP authenticator app in all browsers I have installed on my laptop: Firefox, Brave, Chrome. I receive no errors, every step seems to produce the correct response, but I never get any QR code screen.
Is there a work-around for this issue, other than continuing to use SMS codes?
