LastPass Android app fails to authenticate with fingerprint

Created an account to upvote this. I have the same problem as the original poster. Well, I have the same problem as everyone else, but I have a Pixel 5 as well. I don't believe the problem is limited to Chrome though. I don't know when it started but I believe it was fairly recent, within the last month. Very odd....

Hey, just wanted to say that this issue appears to be fixed now (I used it for this very login, in fact). There hasn't been a LastPass android app update recently, but there HAS been an Android OS update. So I'm assuming that's what's fixed the issue.

Can confirm on Pixel 3a it's fixed after taking this March update. What a relief. Would have been nice if someone, anyone, at log me in said so, said hey, just hang on Google will fix it for us all. And if they didn't understand it, then shame on them as well, but we'll never know now. And what about google breaking stuff. In other news, Google broke official version Chrome and fixed it in the same day, causing havoc at my job today too. Someone take their keys to the castle away, they are wrecking to many disparate things now. Glad this one is working again tho.

I am on the latest March update and the problem is NOT resolved for me on a Pixel 3 XL.

Same here. March update on P4a, not fixed. Trying to uninstall and reinstall the app after rebooting the phone right now..

It's definitely hit and miss. My initial success was with a couple apps being auto filled with fingerprint working, and a couple websites in Chrome, too. I've since found websites in Chrome that don't work, and Firefox is not working, same error as before for both cases Reinstalled, rebooted again too. So this is not fully fixed, it's just not completely broke anymore. Progress, but not enough for happiness.

I installed the latest Android update and has NOT fixed the issued on my Pixel 3 XL. Third party apps still do not properly authenticate with the finger print sensor.

I have same problem on Pixel 4A. March update has NOT resolved issue.

Same. Pixel 4a. Been a problem for months. Fix it or lose my Family subscription business.
