LastPass Android - Fail to authenticate with fingerprint

Having the identical issue on Pixel4a5g. Not sure if it's a coincidence, but so responses so far are from various Pixel devices. This wouldn't be the first time LastPass hasn't kept up solid support on Google's phones.

FWIW - Just replaced a Pixel 2 and 2 XL (both working as expected with LastPass, autofill window, and biometric authentication) with two Pixel 4a devices. The first 4a is working correctly but the second has this issue with the biometric authentication failing for the autofill window.

One noteworthy thing to mention is that I setup all the permissions (e.g. accessibility, autofill, file) on this second device before opening LastPass after transferring from the 2 XL. I haven't tried to wipe the LastPass app storage or un-/reinstalled it yet. I'll wait to see the updates from the open case before I try anything else.

I was having the same problem with my Pixel 4a. I was able to fix this by removing my fingerprints and adding them again as outlined on this page: https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass/help/why-isnt-the-unlock-with-biometrics-feature-for-lastpas...

I tried this previously and it didn't good the issue for me.

The LastPass app itself authenticates my fingerprints just fine (as do other apps), so the issue isn't with the fingerprints saved. It's when the LastPass biometric popup it's used in other apps, especially chrome, that it doesn't authenticate.

AND...nevermind. This worked temporarily last night, but the issue has returned when logging into a website this morning. As stated in other posts, fingerprint recognition works fine when opening the app, but it is not recognized when the "fillable" pop-up appears.

Shucks. And here I thought we were good to go.
