LastPass Android - Fail to authenticate with fingerprint

I am also having this issue. Lastpass Autofill in Chrome doesn't log me into lastpass with biometrics but going to the lastpass app directly works fine. Once logged in, autofill works.

Pixel 4XL w/ face unlock.

For what it's worth, I've been having the exact same issue for some time - fingerprint works fine in the LastPass app, then then autofill works fine in Chrome on my Pixel 3a XL, which has a fingerprint reader on the back.  Fingerprint fails when prompted in Chrome.  Please fix.

I'm having the same issue on a Google Pixel 3. LastPass Version 4.11.17.6051. In chrome when I tried to validate with fingerprint it rejects a couple times and then it will open the vault for me to select the login credentials for the website I'm on. Which is a security risk obviously. Then next time I try to go in to LastPass it'll ask for the master password.

Having exact same issue, Pixel 3a, Android 11, up to date January 5 security patches. Glad to know it's not just me, I was considering a factory reset until reading this. Tried all the above already, no joy. Hopefully fixed soon! All family account members impacted, same phone model. 😞

Same issue, Pixel 5 with latest Android 11 updates.  Really glad to have found this thread confirming that it's not just an issue due to some incorrect setting on my side.  As others may have mentioned, I don't see this issue (even with the latest LastPass app version) on my older Pixel 2 phone, which suggests it may be an issue with the latest Android update(s), which the Pixel 2 didn't get due to end-of-life.

LastPass really needs to get this fixed ASAP, or at least get some update to threads like this one confirming it as a known issue and giving some sense of timing for a fix when it's available.

Folks, we're all Pixel users with the same problem because we get the latest Android OS rollouts and security patches before anyone else. That's what has broken it.
Once the same security patch goes to other Android devices, there may well be an avalanche of complaints.

But yes... Pixel3 here, same problem.

I can fingerprint authenticate to get into the LastPass app, but not to unlock it to enter a password on a website in chrome or edge. It'll work though if I've unlocked it by opening (by biometrically unlocking) the LastPass app first. Same as others on here.

Something happened with security during the Jan update tho. I had to re initialise my fingerprint for a bank app and something else too. They all worked though after I did whatever they asked.. but LastPass in-chrome biometric unlock doesn't.

Im having the exact same problem on a Pixel 4a. It's so frustrating because the print reader is obviously working fine but something in LastPass rejects it exactly like you explain.
