LastPass Authenticator: "Device Not Paired" when scanning QR code

Hello,

I cannot seem to add LastPass Authenticator to my account.  I am following the instructions to enroll my device in the LastPass extension. It gives me a QR code to scan, but when I scan it with my phone in the app, it gives me the following error:

Device Not Paired

Error: 2 LastPass_MFA.CLSSession-Error.missingDeviceId

and at other times,

Error: 0 LastPass_MFA.CLSSession-Error.invalidStatusCode(400)

I tried the instructions in the support article here to no avail. Attaching image for reference. Thanks!

Re: LastPass Authenticator: "Device Not Paired" when scanning QR code

Hi all,

Thanks for alerting us to this problem.

We are working on a fix that should be available in the next 24 hours.

In the meantime, you can either enable the LastPass Authenticator on the account first and then set up the Passwordless Login, or on the next login manually enter the code sent to gain access to your account.

Running into the same problem now.  The only way around it was to use a different authenticator option (Microsoft Authenticator)

Also having this issue and similar to the other comment, I could setup Microsoft Authenticator.

Re: LastPass Authenticator: "Device Not Paired" when scanning QR code

Has the fix been deployed? I was checking this thread Friday and was having some issues pairing apple products with the LastPass authenticator, curious if the fix is set to deploy, has deployed, or is still working.

Fix has been deployed (Version 2.6.3 on Jun 26, 2022). Need to update the app from the App Store and try again. Make sure you close the app too so the new version loads properly!
