This is still happening to me on iPad Air 4 on iPadOS 16 (and everything previously). I do not use an external keyboard. Is there any way to fix this ever?
I’m also still having this problem, is there a fix or work around?
The only known, consistently working solution is keeping your password vault under 50 entries. Otherwise, you need to manually launch the password vault and copy the password out each time. If it's a password for a website and not an app, you can also use the Safari plugin on iOS and iPadOS, but it's less secure than the OS-native integration.
I've tried deleting some older sites/passwords to shrink the size of the vault, but the whole point of a password manager is to keep all my passwords. I'm now seeing this issue on my iPhone as well (14 Pro Max) after upgrading to iOS 17. I've opened a support ticket, but gotten nothing useful back, this is a killer for me, if it recognizes the site it works fine, but if it has to pop up the site chooser it crashes before I can type the site to pick it. This is obviously not an isolated or uncommon isssue, I'm not sure what the point of paying for this is if it doesn't even work, even though I've been a customer for over a decade. I might need to bite the bullet and investigate 1Password.
Good luck with that. I have 900+ sites in my LastPass. Worse even...this issue seems to be happening on my iPhone with iOS17 now.
And I would go to bitwarden in a heartbeat if there team/sharing system wasn't totally gimped. We use lastpass in an business environment with 10 team members needed mixed grades of access to various credentials based on business role function and seniority. It's a nightmare, if not almost impossible, to manage that in Bitwarden. They claimed that improving sharing was on their development roadmap and due in Q2 for 2023 and that gone and past with nothing but crickets from bitwarden on when they will finally improve their sharing system
Same here. It's happening on my iPhone 15 with iOS17.
Is someone listening?
Probably not...best to file a support ticket.
Yeah I've filed a few support tickets and not seen any resolution unfortunately.
Hi, All.
Thanks for your patience.
We've identified an issue with the LastPass iOS app with loading Vault data while attempting to autofill. Tentatively we will start rolling the new version out next week, in batches unless any new issues are identified. I believe this will be version 6.1.3 or higher.
Once you receive the new release in about 1 week, please let us know if any load problems persist.
Thank you,
Thanks for chiming in here @AshC_LP - we all understand that bugs happen and I think most users are pretty understanding when there's good communication and some transparency from the developer. So, really, kudos for coming on here and posting.
Any chance this bug is similar to what we have been experiencing on our iPads and if that same fix can get ported into the iPadOS version of lastpass?
