Same here.. besides everything being really slow I also lost every account from my authenticator app.... while trying to use my watch to 'accept' the authentication.
How on earth... the most basic feature of this app... My company is paying bigtime for this 'Lastpass' environment but so far there are really lots of 'lose ends' and **bleep**ty implemented stuff..
What happend here? When is this bug fixed?
I went into the settings of Last Pass and removed my phone from the authenticator and tried to set up from scratch but it wouldn't show the QR code to set up the iPhone again. I ended up "pretending" I was setting up google authenticator by turning it on in Last Pass and it popped up a QR code which I then scanned with the LP authenticator.
I went into LP on my laptop to do this so the QR code was able to be scanned. I hate to say for obvious reasons you can't generate the QR code on the iPhone as it can't scan itself but I used to work in IT 😉
One user in our office (with an Apple Watch) also has this issue, all accounts deleted and unable to restore.
This has happend 3 times since this month. I already advised not to accept on the Apple Watch but that did not help either. Today all codes are gone again.
Is there already a solution or workaround for this?
Yeah move over to another password manager as fast as possible.. this software is a trainwreck...
That on his own wouldn't be the biggest problem but there is also no indication that the developer behind it is doing anything about it.
Really the only option you have is vote with your money and go to another supported password manager.
This conclusion is not only because of THIS issue.. so many points of the Lastpass software / environment are really the worst ever.
