New📱iPhone: CAN access APP from old just fine but cant remember MASTER pw to set it up on new one. Where is the master password kept in settings of the app so I can see it at least and then use it or reset it for the new phone before I log out?
WTH do I do? Support referred me to FAQs for resetting master which was no help...
I’m afraid to log out of the app on the old phone because I’ll never get access again to all of my passwords… Also I think it’s an additional issue now that they only allow one device how do I get it on my new device & still access my stuff without logging out of the old one?
My password hint is no help

Hi @Itsmebeccat,
Currently it is not possible to view your current master password when logged in to LastPass, unless you had manually saved it as a Vault item previously (although this is not recommended for security reasons.) If you have forgotten your current master password you will need to try all of the possible recovery options here to reset the master password: https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass/help/recover-your-lost-master-password-lp020010
For your second question, the upcoming changes to LastPass Free starting March 16th, 2021, LastPass Free will only include access on unlimited devices of one type (such as computers or mobile devices)--not to only one device. Your Vault data will still sync across all devices of your chosen device type, so if you have multiple mobile devices such as a phone and iPad or tablet your Vault data will sync across all of those devices. As a LastPass Free user, you will not lose access to any of the passwords or information stored in your Vault, regardless of the type of the device that was used when the item was initially added. All devices sync automatically for each user.
Account recovery options will still also be available on both mobile devices and computers after this change as well, if you access your LastPass account on a desktop computer after this change and you've chosen mobile devices as your active device type you will still be able to access account settings and recovery, but will not be able to access your actual Vault data. Alternatively, you can use account recovery on mobile even if mobile is not your active device type. Regardless of whether your active device type is Computers or Mobile Devices, you are strongly encouraged to set up Touch ID/Fingerprint or Face ID/Face Unlock so that you can use mobile account recovery for iOS or Android, allowing you to reset your Master Password using biometrics from that device.

Hi, I have an active session with fingerprint on one android phone. I´m trying to transfer my account to other phone.
As I have the problem of wrong master password when I try steps listed here https://support.lastpass.com/help/how-do-i-reset-my-master-password-using-mobile-account-recovery-on... and click recover account on the new phone I get Account recovery is not set in this email.
I think that it may be because of course I never logged in with fingerprint on the new phone.
I´m afraid of login out to try it on my old phone but of course being logged in doesn´t let me reset the master password with biometry.
I´m using free version in just one mobile device.
Should I logout and try ? is there other solution?
thanks
@talatt I tried to locate a LastPass account under your Community email to confirm the status, but could not find one. To answer your question, you would have had to already link LastPass to biometrics on the new device in order to use account recovery there. These are the other recovery options you may have set up previously: https://support.lastpass.com/help/recover-your-lost-master-password-lp020010
