MFA with multiple mobile devices

I want to use MFA on my Premium account, but using LastPass Authenticator only lets one of those two accounts verify access each time. I'm unable to add other devices anywhere.

Do I need to switch to a different MFA verification method if I don't want to have to use my phone to authorize every time my husband tries to log in from his?

Also, how does one create backup access for a third party in case of emergency?

I've looked at the existing topics here and within the official support documents, but nothing is working.
The Account Settings tabs within the browser are all useless; I can't understand what devices any of the mobile device or trusted device settings refer to, or how to add devices that wouldn't need MFA every time.

Thanks in advance!

Re: MFA with multiple mobile devices

Hi @jmamacat,

The LastPass Authenticator is intended to be used on one device (push notifications will only be sent to the last/newest device that a Cloud backup was restored to), if you're looking for an authenticator method which supports simultaneous use/push notifications on multiple devices we would recommend researching if any other authentication apps that LastPass supports offers this feature: https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass/help/supported-multifactor-authentication-options

Here's how to set up/use the Emergency Access feature as well: https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass/help/set-up-and-manage-emergency-access-lp030013

Thank you for this reply!

Other than Authenticator, is there any other MFA method that can have two users/devices?

Re: MFA with multiple mobile devices

We're not sure as LastPass only manages/created the LastPass Authenticator app, although if you look through the list of supported multifactor authentication options linked above you can check the features of those apps to see if they support multiple devices/users
