As the Family Manager, I have shared folder/subfolders from a family member which I can see from my Windows laptop (Chrome) when logged into manager account. However, on my iPhone, I cannot see these shared folders when logged into the manager account.
Hello, could you try these steps to force a manual sync of your account data, and if these steps don't resolve the issue try uninstalling the app, restarting your device, then reinstalling the LastPass app?
I also have this issue, recently upgraded to LastPass Family. Sharing facility not visible on IOS and ipadOS.
I tried the steps suggested.
It sounds like you’ve done about anything that you could do to fix issues like these.
I wonder if it’s only this specific shared folder that’s having a problem i.e. does a different shared folder not have any issues with this user? If that’s true, would you possibly have set item level permissions on items in this shared folder?
Hello,
Sorry for any confusion. While the sharing center is not available in the LastPass app for iOS, you can view and share items in the LastPass app by following the steps outlined in our blog post here. Shared folders cannot be managed on the LastPass app, you would need to do this from a browser: https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass/help/use-the-sharing-center-lp020007 although you should see any items that are shared with your in your Vault on all devices, including iOS devices
Unfortunately the answers here are terrible because LogmeIn has not added features to the Apps that we pay for with premium accounts. Managing Shared Folders - or even viewing them - has not been an App feature for years! That is a terrible answer due to poor App support. This is one of the main reasons other password apps have flourished…
This is really a terrible solution.
You realize that for free users you've restricted access to one device right? What if that device is mobile?
Does that mean its impossible for mobile users to accept shared items?
Yeah, this solution seems pathetic. Have you got website any good working solution yet?
Similar issue here. I have a LastPass business account with a linked personal account. Now that they offer LastPass Families, we took advantage of that and created 3 shared folders in the personal families account. I can view/add/modify anything in the personal shared folders while logged in with my business account as long as I'm in a web browser/extension.
The problem is the iOS app does not show items in the personal families shared folders, or the folders themselves. I see personal account items that are not being shared within the LastPass families account, but nothing shared. I have tried clearing the app cache, refreshing my vault, logging out and back in, deleting and reinstalling the iOS app, all with the same result. The issue is only while logged in with the business account, if I log in to the iOS app with the families account directly the shared folders are visible.
This is frustrating and makes the LastPass Families "benefit" useless for me since I have to keep switching accounts in the iOS app.
