Hello Everyone,
I have set my security settings to
>>>>Never log out when the app is idle<<<< & turned off bio-metrics and set a 8 digit pin so when my screen goes blank on my cell phone & you need to get back into last pas you can just enter your pin to enter last pass.
This way I don't have to put my 15 character master password in every time I want in my last pass on my mobile device.
Is there any issue with doing this and never logging out when the app is idle?
I have an android device with android 10
Thank you for the reply!!! Good to know someone else does the same thing. It is much easier to enter an 8 digit pin than my huge master password that is loaded with capitols, characters, ect... I tried using an app lock & locking last pass kind of like what you did with bit defender BUT when it's "unlocked" and I try to go to a site it locks again and of course I need to unlock it again and doing that last pass will not input the password. I think it has something to do with the screen going back to the unlock mode that disrupts the way last pass operates once I removed that and set my last pass to never log out when the app is idle, seems to have worked and once I put in my 8 digits, it works really well,
I also wonder if you or anyone here knows the difference between lock out and log off last pass.. 😁
You said >>>> I think LOCK OUT means you will need to use your PIN again, and LOG OUT would mean you need to use your master password to access LastPass. I have "Lock LastPass automatically" and "Lock when screen is turned off" toggled on.<<< that seems about right yup! I have my last pass set the same way.
