randomly cannot log into lastpass app on android - getting "request cancelled"

i can login lastpass on the computer using various browsers successfully, but CANNOT log into the lastpass app on my samsung s21ultra phone. this was working a few days ago. i use google authenticator and it works fine on the computer login, but not the android phone login. i keep getting "request cancelled" after inputting my password and the MFA code.

i've rebooted my phone multiple times and cleared the cache partition.

I'm grabbing the same issues and customer service it's basically impossible to reach

yeah this is pretty annoying. might start looking into other solutions like bitwarden
