Adding item in the browser extension doesn't show up until I login again

When I go my LastPass account on the Chrome browser and add an item, it doesn't show up.  I need to refresh the page which requires me to login to LastPass again.  Am I doing something incorrectly?

Try these steps first to see if you just need to force a data sync to fix this issue: https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass/help/how-do-i-manually-sync-my-lastpass-account-data

 

If that doesn't work, could you check your Extension Preferences to see if this setting is set to your preference? 

 

  • Click the LastPass icon in your web browser toolbar.
  • Go to Account Options or click your email at the bottom of this menu > Extension Preferences
  • Click Advanced on the left side menu, change the "Poll Server for account changes (mins)" to your desired time, this changes how often LastPass sync with the server to sync/see any updates or changes made to your Vault
