Please try signing in again now, this time directly through the web browser on https://www.lastpass.com/ instead of an extension or app.

I honestly don’t care about recovering the items. I have hard copies and I can enter them again.

 

At this point, I merely want to know what happened:

- How it’s possible for items to vanish?

- Why are they not in deleted items?

- Why only notes of these specific types (out of the many hundreds of items in my vault)?

- What triggered this?

- How can I prevent this from happening again?

 

I feel like I need to have answers if I’m going to continue to use LastPass with confidence.

I just discovered all my payment cards are gone as well!!

Just got ANOTHER canned response from support. I provided so many details, and it looks like they didn't even read them. Frankly, it's insulting.

I'm done. I've been here for YEARS. But I'm moving to another service.
