The LastPass app designed for Mac/Safari usage will not allow me to login. I can login through the LastPass website just fine. I can login through LastPass extensions for Chrome, Opera and Edge, just fine -- which are all working on a Mac. But the version of LastPass app for Mac/Safari accepts my password, I click Log In, and it looks like it is about to login. After about 3 seconds it stops, then resumes the login box, does not display an error, and the password box is empty as if I had never entered a password at all.

@JSC84 @R44-R22 We have released another update that should resolve this issue. Please locate the menu bar up top and look for the Check for updates option to click. This version should be 4.98.1.

What version of the LP mac app do you have? (Lastpass Menu > About Lastpass)
I deleted the old one and got a new version from LastPass website. So whatever version is available from the website. Still, the problem persists.
I seem to experience the same problem as you.

Same problem here. Happened after I updated from 4.97.0 to 4.98.0
I deleted 4.98.0, rebooted, re-installed but problem persists.

While we investigate further, you may be able to log in through http://lastpass.com/login on Safari, and then attempt to activate the LastPass plugin again.
