Cannot make LastPass account

My colleague invited me to use LastPass. 

The LastPass email says to login, but have never used LastPass before so I am trying to create a new account.

However, when trying to register - after inputting email and password, an error occurs saying "Something doesn't look right. Please check that you've entered everything correctly."

I have tried to reset password to see if I can fix it that way but I cannot find any solution to go through this. Can anyone help me with this?

I am sorry about the issues you are having with your account. Our records show there is an existing account with your email address. If you don't know the Master Password, you can regain access by resetting the account.
