I had a LastPass Premium account. LassPass downgraded me to a Free account when they didn't accept my automatic payment for renewal that has worked for the last 3 years.
I can't uprade to LastPass Premium. Every time I try, by whatever (logged in or logged out, from the webpage, from my vault, from my account page) means I get this error message
The support article states that I should contact customer support that I cannot access because I am no longer a Premium account holder.
It's strange that LastPass should make this process so difficult.

hello. i have the exact same problem. i received 3 emails from billing@logmein.com last october 18th, 20th, 22nd asking me to update my payment information. i wasn't able to see these emails right away. i've been a lastpass subscriber since 2019 but had to replace a few credit cards due to suspected fraud. I surmise this was the reason i was emailed.
The email said to click the box to upgrade billing information. But hyperlink wasn't working. When i logged on from my browser it showed i was already under a free account. Tried to upgrade to premium again but got the same message that i couldnt upgrade from my current account.
i tried the lnk you provided the other complainant but i didnt allow me to open a request. The options were to visit the Support Center knowledge base, Ask the Community or to Upgrade to get personal support.
What do i do???

The billing support team will need to assist with this issue, to create a ticket for the team please scroll down and click Contact Support at the bottom center of this article, entering your account info, then clicking "Submit a billing case" at the bottom of the popup that shows: http://link.lastpass.com/community
