Chrome extension not automatically logging off on close

I have the "Automatically Log out when all browsers are closed and Chrome has been closed for (mins)" in my Security preferences set to 0, but whenever I re-open the security preferences the box is blank. Lastpass also doesn't automatically logout when I close Chrome. Any idea how to fix this? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, but that didn't help. Thanks!

Make sure your browser isn't configured to run in the background after you close it.
