Copy or view password no longer working

Recently a problem began on the mobile app and desktop browser extension where passwords are ALWAYS asterisks. You can't view or copy the text it only displays or pastes asterisks.

Hi @Sambou,

 

Could you try these steps to force a data sync and see if that fixes this issue?

  • Click the LastPass icon in your browser > Account Options or click your email > Advanced > Refresh Sites then Clear Local Cache.
  • In the app, tap Settings > Actions > Refresh Vault & Clear LastPass Cache. Log out and log back in to LastPass.

If this is still happening, could you try editing some items in your Vault manually to see if the passwords are saved as asterisks for all sites, or are they only saved as asterisks for some sites?
