How to change payment details for automatic renewal

I've been a Premium customer for 8 years.

 

My renewal was just paid automatically, from my credit card. I need to change this payment method because I'm going to close that account soon.

 

In my Account Settings, it says that I have automatic renewal enabled via Paypal. This is not true - I cancelled it from PayPal long ago.

There is nothing in the Billing  Information section - all the fields are blank. Plus that's just my address, and there is no way to enter my new credit card details.

How do I set up my payment info so that in a year's time the auto payment does not fail because I've cancelled my old credit card?

Thanks for giving that a try, I asked our technical team for assistance and they've resolved this issue for your account, you should no longer see the PayPal notice in your Account Settings area, and should see the correct options to update your billing/payment info: https://support.logmeininc.com/lastpass/help/how-do-i-update-my-payment-information-lp010117

Hi @catbrier,

 

You'll want to Cancel your PayPal payment agreement (by clicking Cancel in the Premium Status section as seen in your provided screenshot) then when your current subscription expires you will need to purchase Premium using LastPass' new payment system as PayPal is no longer an accepted form of payment for LastPass plans.

When I click Cancel, I get this:

The link in this dialog tries to resolve to a PayPal help page that has been deleted.

I don't have a renewal agreement set up in PayPal. I deleted it back in 2018.

I definitely have no PayPal auto payment set up for LastPass or LogMeIn.

 

There isn't even one listed in the Inactive payments. I think this means that I cancelled it years ago.

I have the same issue as well. I do not have any automatic renewal in PayPal and I noticed the payment was charged to my credit card instead of PayPal.

I couldn't find change payment method in the account setting as per the instruction.

Are you able to click Cancel in your first screenshot to make sure the PayPal payment agreement is cancelled?
