I'm trying to recover my master password on LastPass, but every time I click or copy and paste the link into my browser this error appears, how can I solve it?

I apologize that the system is sending you recovery links that may not be valid due to lost browser cache data for LastPass. This data is used to create both recovery one-time-passwords via email, and also SMS recovery. If you recently logged into LastPass within the last few days, make sure you are using the links in the same web browser.
If you cannot recover your account password, but did update it in the last month, then you may still revert to the last known password through this location: https://lastpass.com/revert.php
If neither of these recovery process' work, then you may reset the entire login without knowing the password through this location: https://lastpass.com/reset_account.php
I have the same problem. When I try to restore the account, I only get that "link has expired". This is incredibly annoying as it is not possible to get in touch with LastPass support, as they require you to log into your account - to get help with your password. Monumentally stupid solution! Now I am locked out and have no way to access my account.

We noticed your account does not show recent activity, therefore, the recovery option has not been accepted. We recommend checking your hint/reminder to access or variations of the password.

In your case, we noticed the master password typed in is incorrect, therefore it does not let you access it. However, per the recent attempts, you have typed in the correct master password twice, generating a login verification email to be approved.
Please, check your mailbox for any email from LastPass.
Not sure why when I go to the account recovery process, enter my email, enter the SMS code that is sent to me that I get "The link has expired or is invalid. Please generate a new link and try again." Error message. I was using this computer and browser without issue for the last 4 months and lastpass decides to log me out and now I can not get back in.
And no I have not changed my password within the last 30 days or cleared my cache or using a brand new browser.
I had the same trouble several months ago. After having tried all the remedies given by Lastpass including the SMS verification I still got this message too, even after entering the verification code within seconds of getting it. I gave up and went to a lot of trouble to reset my most important passwords. Now 2 months later I need some that are locked in Lastpass, so today I tried again with the SMS verification, same result. I now getting very frustrated with the total lack of support from Lastpass. Has anyone found a way around this problem?
