This is the first real issue I've had with LastPass (and I've been using it for years), and LogMeIn's response to this issue has been less than stellar. While I'm aware that Firefox's share of the browser market is less than 10%, it's the browser I use and I expect the extensions I use to function properly, not for us to be greeted with 'we can't replicate this'. If only one person was having the issue then it could be user error, but it appears to be bigger than that.

Similar. LP has been great. I had no issues with it not working in a private window until a month or so ago. I thought it might just be a dodgy update. surprised it hasn't been rectified before now.
Our team is aware of and investigating this issue when using LastPass in a Private Firefox window, while we do not yet have an ETA for when this will be resolved we have found a workaround to use in the meantime which another user here has also pointed out:
Right click on the blank extension dropdown/window.
Select "this frame"
Select "open frame in new tab/window"
We will update this thread once we have more info on a fix/update for the extension to fix this issue as well. I am marking this as the solution for this thread so that other users who experience this issue and view this thread can fix the workaround as quickly as possible.
So any update yet? This workaround is a poor way at best. How can we get some traction on this?
I'll be 100% honest, I did have lastpass business edition on the table for my company, but after this little bit of a surprise and then silence, Bitwarden and Keeper are starting to look better.
I agree. I can understand an update issue from time to time but the length of time to fix this is unacceptable to me. As is the lack of communication from Lastpass.
Agreed. I too am seriously considering changing to another product when this year's subscription expires. I've been using LP for many years, but they've been neglecting it for a few now and I feel like several other vendors now have clearly superior offerings. That's too bad, given LP was once a market leader. Maybe when LogMeIn acquired them they just treated them like an ugly stepchild and left them to rot on the vine? (Or just the opposite: let them rest on their laurels?)

Well, I am happy to see that Lastpass is going to be an independent company once again, as per the last email I just got. Perhaps we will see resolution to this issue soon enough. Logmein certainly did NOTHING to improve this product, and the lack of updates on this is appalling.
