You're a lot more upbeat about this than I am. 😕

While I believe that LastPass going independent will ultimately be a good thing, I don't see this issue being resolved soon. It has been over 2 months since Firefox 93 came out and broke LastPass. We're now up to Firefox 95, and LastPass still doesn't work right in a private tab. I imagine that splitting LastPass out of LogMeIn will cause internal issues, and some little problem with Firefox won't be a priority. 

Yes, I am pessimistic about this getting resolved sooner than latter.

Amazing! This Mozilla bug report was filed 3 days ago, and they've already identified the reason for the issue, and how Firefox could be changed to fix it, AND how LastPass could be changed to fix it.

We've been waiting over 2 months for LastPass to be fixed, but I'm quickly losing any faith that the developers are up to the task.

Also, reading the Firefox bug report, it looks like they have reverted Firefox in order to fix this LastPass issue. We should see the fix with Firefox version 97.

Version 96 just came out on 1/11/2022, so hopefully within the next month.

That's awesome that Firefox is fixing this, because sure as sh*t, we have learned that we cannot rely on lastpass support to do squat.  As a result of all of this, Lastpass was not selected by my company to become our MSP password manager, and we've chosen Bitwarden.  I'm still using lastpass personally until my sub runs out.  I'll stick with companies that offer quick and valid support.

Yep, I see that changed today. Thankfully the Firefox team is taking the time to revert their changes to fix a extension that the extension owners don't seem to care about.

THE WAIT IS OVER!!!

Firefox 96.0.2 was released today, and I can confirm that LastPass is working correctly in a private window.

Finally browsing can be (more) normal.

I'm on 100.0.1 64-bit on MacOS and this blank LP window in the extension has been a problem for a month at least for me. I removed the extension, closed FF, and added it back and same problem.

Anyone else still having problems with FF, possibly on MacOS 12.3.1? Chrome works fine for me.
