Lastpass authenticator stopped showing push notifications

All of a sudden LastPass authenticator on my mobile phone stopped prompting after I logged into LastPass on my laptop. The authenticator code generation, SMS or the 'call my phone' option don't work either.


In despair, I deleted and reinstalled the authenticator on my phone. When I start the authenticator, it now requires that I scan a QR code (which is impossible since I can't acces my account on my laptop). 


there is also an option to add an account in the lastpass authenticator app.  It directs me to 'last pass' website.  After entering my password, the app states that I should respond to the push message which was sent to my phone....  but there is no push message.


I can also 'verify my account with a code'....  when I try that option, nothing happens however.


So basically I'm blocked from all my data... I have been in this loop for three hours.... 


Help... anyone??

Are you able to navigate into the Authenticator App settings and attempt the restore process?
